Nairobi National Park Game Drive 1/2 Day takes you to the only wildlife park in the world that is so close to the city. Nairobi National Park is located approximately 7 kilometers from Nairobi’s City Center, with only a fence separating the park from the metropolis. Open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife. The Park has a good variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes and giraffes. Nairobi National Park has a high diversity of bird species, with up to 500 permanent and migratory species.

Day 1: Nairobi National Park
06:00hrs – Meet at Kencom, Nairobi City Center
06:15hrs – Depart for Nairobi National Park’s Main Langata Gate
06:30hrs – Start your 4-hour exploration looking out for lion, leopard, white and black rhino, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, ostrich, birdlife, and other game. You will also visit the Ivory Burning Monument – site of the destruction of poached ivory and an important call to end this illegal behavior.
10:30hrs – Enjoy a Picnic at Mokoyet Picnic Site
11:00hrs – Exit Nairobi National Park
11:30hrs – Drop-off in Town (Kencom)
