Amboseli National Park
Amboseli Park is one of the largest parks in Kenya. The climate of the region is dry in most time of the year. It shelters many wild animals with elephants forming a significant number of the animals. There are more than 75 mammals in the park.
Zebras and wildebeests can be seen from a distance grazing on the natural grassland. The park also provides shelter to more than 400 species of birds. Lodges are adequate and comfortable.
Tourists take picture with the huge African elephants in the park. While in park, travelers are also able to view Mount Kilimanjaro a distance away. One can get to the park through the Nairobi-Namanga road and enter the park through Mashenani gate or through Remito gate after Emali which is 240km away from Nairobi.
The airstrip at Empusel gate can also lead to the reserve.
